Review content:
My family has used Dr. Dietrich for all our dental work while we've lived in Kingsport. I personally have very high anxiety about going to the dentist and require 2 ativan the night before and 2 an hour before my appointment. Since I'm so out of it, my mom has to get me up and drive me. This morning she was late waking up and when Dr. Dietrich's receptionist called us 15mins after my appointment was to begin she informed us that we would not be able to get any work done even though we could be there in 10mins and I had a 2 hour slot. (I need a lot of work done) She even had the nerve to ask me to cancel my appointment next week so other patients could be seen. I told her I didn't mean to miss my appointment, I was simply late. When Dr. Dietrich called us back he was just as rude and said he was mad he didn't have anyone to work on this morning & he had been the one to tell the receptionist we would not be seen. He also said maybe we should find a dentist with a different philosophy. So my family and I will be taking our business elsewhere. Also, he drilled into my lip one time during a cavity fill. Rude and not worth it.
