Review content:
Rookies will never get another penny of mine or my friends. For the last 9 years me and all of my friends have made Rookies our place to go for everything from football games to PPV fights. But last weekend was the straw that broke the camels back. And hopefully the owner or somebody with some authority will read this. Rookies will ""reserve"" tables for big PPV events up to a week ahead of time. So like always I call about 5 days in advance because if you dont these idots will ""reserve"" the whole damn place and walk ins wont have a table to sit at (stupid idea by the way). So I get whoever I am speaking to on the phones confirmation that a table for my party of 10 has been reserved. We get there Saturday night around 8pm (because they said you have to be there an hour early to keep the reservation...no problem) and lo and behold...my party of 10 has a table of 4 to crowd around. I try to talk to the manger about it and he gets an attitude and tells me there wasnt enough people in my party to reserve the table I wanted..and was told I was going to get. So we are all crowded around this tiny table , getting horrible service. When right in front of us there is a table unoccupied that has more than enough room. Well remembering the ""be there an hour early"" rule I glanced at my watch and it was about 10min. till the event (9pm). So my group sits down and gets comfortable thinking all was good because this group didnt show up in time. Well I guess the ""hour rule"" doesnt apply to everybody because we sat there about 35 min. enjoying the UFC fight when that short , hispanic manager with the greasy pony tail came over and was being a complete dick about us sitting there. He said it was his call who got a table and who didnt and was very rude about the whole situation. Sorry for the novel here but the greasy hispanic manager doesnt realize he cost Rookies a lot of repeat business with his little greasy drama queen attitude. We just decided to start ordering it at the house. So in conclusion...if you dont know somebody there then you probably wont get a table...and if you do get one..it will only seat half of the people you need it to...and even then your service will suck...the food sucks...the prices suck...the mangers suck. To hell with Rookies Sports bar....I am done.
