Breast Cancer is in my family history, so my mother has gone for her Mammography every year never missed 1 time. She had always gone to Northeast Imaging for her Mammograms and any other Ultrasounds or X-rays that she needed to have done in the past. A couple months ago she went for her Mammography and got a letter from Northeast Imaging telling her that everything looked normal no changes and no abnormailities. They last month she went to her Gynocologist for her check up and told him that she felt something strange around her nipple so he sent her to a specialist for an Ultrasound. When she made he appointment they told her to get copies of her last 2 Mammograhies, so she did. And when she went to the specialist she got news that could have knocked her over with a feather. The doctor was sure that it was breast cancer and took 6 biopsys. The doctor was right it was breast cancer and so far along that they would have to a Mastectomy. The doctor looked at my mothers last 2 Mammographies and showed her that the lump was there on the one she had done in 2007, but her letter from Northeast Imaging stated that ""there were no abnormailities"". Then on the one that she had done in 2008 showed the lump was even bigger and yet they sent another letter stating that ""there were no abnormailites"". And here she is having to get her breast removed when this could have been avoided if the person reading the Mammographies had a clue what they were looking at and actually compared it to her past Mammograms instead of just sending out a standard letter stating, ""NO ABNORMALITIES""! They need to close this place down till they retrain their technicians. Cause if this is happening to my mother think about how many other peoples X-rays, Ultrasounds & Mammograms are being miss read! People all over the Northeast area could be walking around with life threating problems that could be avoided! PLEASE DON'T GO THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE OR YOUR LOVED ONES LIFE!
