Businiess name:  Zoo Pet Store

Review content:
I first called the Zoo to see if they had any Parrotlets available. The boy who answered the phone told me that they had one green. I asked him if it was a male or female. He put me on hold for a minute and then told me that the bird was too young and that the breeder had not told them if it was a girl or boy. I asked him if it had any blue on it...he said yes (That means its a male). I then asked him how much the bird was and he said it would be $299!!!! Greens generally sell for about $150! The zoo was charging the price of a Blue or Yellow! I was hoping that the young man was mistaken so I decided to go to the store. The first thing I noticed was that the store reaked!!! They sell puppies there and you can tell that they do not clean the cages very often. The puppies also looked pretty sick. Anyway, I was able to see the parrotlet and it was a green male. However, it was not hand-tamed! If they were going to sell it for that price I would have expected a tamed and trained bird! I did not end up buying the bird but found one at $150 elsewhere. Pros: Clean Floors Cons: Unclean Animal Cages (Smells!), Overpriced Animals, Uninformed Staff.
