Review content:
I grew up in NY but now live in San Francisco. I ended up at Institut in October of 2005 and found some really beautiful, one-of-a-kind items. Of course, it is Spring Street, and
most of the clothes were in th 300-800/per item range.
I had to pair down to what I could afford after being helped by Carlton, a wonderful
person there with great taste, but I will go again and everything I got has seen a lot
of wear.
Highly recommend for those that can afford it or for that special piece or two that is unique, elegant and funky.
Pros: One of a kind pieces, Beautiful store, Wonderful salespeople
Cons: Expensive
