House of Pets in El Monte is the worst place ever. They are rude people that try to rip people off. I went online to House of Pets and looked up the price for the Frontline Plus for my cat. The price was $38.99 online. I called House of Pets in El Monte to confirm the price and that the item was in stock. The item was in stock and the price was 38.99 for a month supply, according to some guy. However, once I went to the store and tired to purchase the item. The guy in the front said that for each drop, which is worth only for one month cost 22.99 each and for the six month supply was 169.99. I replied by telling him that online the price for the 3 month supply was 38.99 and that I called earlier and someone from House of Pet of El Monte confirmed the same price for the same product. However, some other weird girl with glasses walked up and said that this was House of Pets and that at Petco the Frontline plus was actually cost more. Anyways, these two individuals were rude and stupid. They lied about the price of their product. In fact, I went to Petco and the Frontline was on sale for $33.97 for a 3 month supply. I went to petmeds and for a 3 month supply it was $42.99 and on amazon it was $29.99 for a 3 month supply. In conclusion, House of Pets is a complete rip off. I would not buy anything from them and I would encourage others to stay away from House of Pets in EL MONTE. The people there are only looking to rip you off.
Cons: DISHONESTY, prices, horrible grooming services, and rude.
