Cobble Hill- One bad experience after the next. First, the theater is very small and overcrowded. The power has gone out during a film on more than one occasion. With so many nicer theaters in the neighborhood why pay $12 for a 3-D film in a theater with uncomfortable seating that is so close to the screen? Since its local, it sells out on new films very easily and you are left standing in line if you don't book ahead. Our last experience really took the cake. We ordered our tickets hours in advance for a new release (a $4 charge). When I went to pick them up they were ""not there"". The manager refused to solve the problem. When I protested her handling of the situation, she became angry, and cursed at me on multiple occasions. You would expect that is what I should have been doing! To add insult to injury this 45 minute episode lead to a $35 ticket. I wrote to the owner and told him of what had happened. He was relatively unsympathetic (even a bit snotty) but after twisting his arm a bit he offered passes to make up for the film. Though I vowed never to return, I do try and support local businesses, so I gave them another chance. Guess what? When I tried to the tickets for a comparable film, they turned us away. The owner was called and he said he did not remember us and we could not remember if the first tickets were for a 3-D film. BAM, here I come. Pros: Location if you are nearby Cons: Small, Stuffy, Poor Seating, Terrible Service, Rude Owner
