Review content:
After buying a sofa and a couple of other items, all was well - for a week. The sofa almost immediately began to break-down. Basicly it was a nice looking piece of crap. I talked to the sales person who politely referred me to customer service. I explained that I onloy had the sofa for less than 2 weeks and already was breaking down, etc. They sent out a service person that tighened things up a bit, acknowledged that it was in fact breaking down, but could not do anything about it. I talked to CS again and they said there was nothingn they would do. They would not take it back for store credit, refund my money, NOTHING. I called mastercard and put in a customer dispute. Citibank asked me to supply all the back-up documentation I had, which I did. They determined in their investigation that I should not have to pay for the sofa and reversed the charge. The next thing I know, LINDERS TOOK ME TO COLLECTION!!! I called mastercard and they said they rarely saw this happen and that reputable vendors stood with the decision of mastercard....not Linders. Apparently in the fine print, they have the right to go after you anyway they want regardless of the decision of mastercard. My only alternative was to pay the collection or have my credit ruined. I paid the bill and will take them to small claims court. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY!!!! Pros: nice sales person Cons: customer service
