Dr. Hess is so busy discussing his personal life, patients take 2nd place. Hi demeanor is kick back, get around to you when I can and not professional or respectful of the patients time.\r His mountain biking and political views and family situations such as selling his home then renting so he can buy a new more expensive home and other personal interests are foremost.\r He will spend lots of time carrying on a conversation with another patient even when their treatment is finished regarding his interests (even up to 10 minutes) while you wait in the waiting room. This has happened not just once, but many, many times. \r \r Everything is kick-back, casual (as opposed to professional)) and routine---same thing, no change in treatment for most of us. I was told my injuries should be iced and he was going to gt ice packs. ..oops, his ice packs were in storage (??? He has been in business for how long? WHY are they in storage???) The next 3 times I asked about the ice packs, he said he couldn't find them. My injuries were not treated properly. How about buying a little freezer and putting ice in a baggie or the hit-and-it's-cold packs??? This is supposed to be a professional business.\r Think twice unless you are desperate for a social life and have nothing better to do with your time and are willing to accept mediocre care. \r -M\r Pros: very social Cons: not respectful of patients time, not prepared to treat injuries
