Review content:
I was visiting Salem and my friend wanted seafood so I checked City Search and found Willamette Valley Grill. I went by the review left by another customer and we decided to give it a try. Well, the food was good, not spectacular, but good. But the service was great, the food was piping-hot from the kitchen and came FAST! FRESH food and prepaired right, not under or over done. Gordon Ramsey need not show up here anytime soon. We had dishes with shrimp, chicken and pasta; again just fine, not out of this world, but fine. The price for our meals was fair and portions were good. Now I won't say I'd drive 74 miles to come again, but I would go through a rainy night to get there. A band was playing in the bar (it was Saturday night) but it did not bother me at all. The staff was great and attended to our every need. So, to die for? Well, no, not at all (don't kid yourself). But I'd say check it out if you want to skip the chain establishments (like I wanted to) and have a unique and good taste of Salem!
