Review content:
I've been tanning here almost as long as they've been around. They claim to be the oldest salon in Santa Clarita and while a few of the beds look it, they still outperform everything else I've tried up here. The ownership and staff changed about a year and a half ago, but that's not a bad thing in this case.\r \r They have five kinds of beds (I've tried them all now) with two of them being those fancy high pressure kinds. Most of the salons up here don't have any, let alone two of these bad boys. Lots of beds can now tan you without burning I guess, but none of them have anywhere near the same power as these. A little pricey, but they work out to be a bargain since they say you only have to tan in them once every two weeks or so to maintain. I can't imagine having to tan every day to get or keep a tan.\r \r The other beds are a lot cheaper, but still pretty potent. Even their cheapest beds have high pressure bulbs for your face and none of them are the old 20 or worse yet, 30 minute kind. I was shocked to find some salons are still using those. Those sound more like residential models or really old commercial ones or something. \r \r The place has always been clean and the beds are always in good working order. No missing or burned out bulbs. And if they can't fix a bed right away, they won't tan you in it. If that means having to put you in a better bed, they don't charge you the difference.\r \r They have a pretty big selection of really good lotions and they usually charge less than retail for them. I like that because I'd rather buy from someone I trust locally than take my chances with lotions online.\r \r They do the standard pay-as-you-go kind of memberships as well as unlimiteds like most salons, but they also sell sessions that don't expire. The more you buy, the cheaper they are. They also do deals for students and have a pretty generous referral program. They even give me free upgrades on my birthday!\r \r So if you're new to tanning or just looking for something better, give these guys a try. You won't be disappointed.
