Review content:
We had a terrible experience at Joe Pasta tonight. Our food was terrible and the pizza was under cooked to the point that the toppings fell off the pizza from it being so limp. Adding to the terrible experience was the 20% gratuity charged when the bill arrived. When we asked the waitress why we were charged 20% she said it was because we had six people (we had 4 adults and 2 kids under 5yrs old). Our waitress, nor anyone else in the establishment pointed out the fact that we were being charged the gratuity even after we received the bill. We asked her to point out to us where this policy was disclosed and she grabbed a menu and had to pull the sheet out of the menu sleeve because it is typed at the bottom of the page, which was not visible when the sheet was in the menu. Obviously we were concerned that they hide this and feel it necessary to ""pull a fast one"" on their local patrons. Our waitress also gave us a lot of attitude when we were simply trying to understand their shady business practices. We are local patrons that will never eat at Joe Pasta ever again. I hope their mandatory 20% gratuity was worth losing a lifetime customer. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EAT AT JOE PASTA.
