Rude staff. Just wanted to enjoy a nice dinner with our daughters (birthday of the youngest one). Everything seemed to be started very well, we got a table right away. \r \r The server asked us about what to drink? We asked one beer for each adult and juices for kids (me, my wife and my mother-in-law, age 78, visiting from Europe). The server asked promptly for our all IDs. No problem ... I've shown my ID and my wife ID, but our mother in law did not have any ID as she left her passport at home. However, our waitress told us that she cannot serve her alcohol since we cannot provide proof of her age. \r \r We thought this wouldn't have been a problem, given that she was visibly old? How could one think she was below 21 ?? \r \r As you can imagine, we were kind of stunned ... However, we thought that could have been a slight misunderstanding, and we asked nicely for the manager to come, but the manager repeated the same thing: her restaurant would lose its license if she would give alcohol to a person not having an ID. \r \r We thought the situation was a bit ridiculous as this never happened to us before in any restaurant (asking a senior for an ID, nevermind refusing service based on this). Anyway, we didn't want to argue legalities and stuff like this in front of the other customers so we gently left.\r \r Later on, (we went to Olive Garden nearby, with a super-nice staff) our spirits went up, and we kind of ended up making fun of the whole situation so the evening turned out well in the end ... \r \r But still, this is by far the worst experience we had in a restaurant, but I thought it deserves a review so other potential customers (and possibly the management) to see this and take what conclusions they find appropriate.
