WOW!!
This place is amazing, and Salvador is a true artist. Not only is he genius with shears, he is also an accomplished photographer, a talented musician, and an all around positive spirit.
Never in my life have I had such a great experience in a salon. As a man, I have always felt a little uneasy in the fancy Scottsdale salons. Nothing against them, or their clientele, but there is something a little uppity about them. Definitely not the case at Salvador's place.
As soon as I enter, I am greeted by Tahoe, his golden retriever who happens to be a certified service dog. So, have no fear if you are not a dog person, she will not bother you one bit. The salon, I learned, is more than just a place to get your hair cut and colored. Salvador holds hair tip classes, throws parties and has been known to host rock bands from time to time. OK, I'm getting off track here.
What I'm getting at is, the salon is a fantastic space. It is open and inviting. The walls are covered with photos and artwork by Salvador. There is a calmness about the space and it is inviting and relaxing.
Enough about the space. My haircut was the best I have ever had. Never have I felt so good about myself after a haircut. Not only did I look great, I felt fantastic.
Salvador is the best. I will never go elsewhere.
