Review content:
Rouge sits on one of the sides of Rittenhouse Square, meaning you can be sure to people-watch from one of the outdoor tables whether it's the proximate foot traffic or across in the R-Sqr park. Its small interior is bent on becoming a velvety lounge apres dinner. I had fine & attentive service by one of the ""little-black-dress"" clad waitresses, she was very kind & helpful. The bib lettuce salad with roquefort cheese & spiced cashews was excellent as well as the pan-seared proscuitto wrapped halibut with lentils. The halibut was cooked to perfection, with excellent consistency. The warm chocolate flourless cake was all right, but it's $4 addt'l to transform it to a la mode! It was amusing to watch the bartender tend to partrons in the central circular bar. It can be casual, but the Happy Hour seems to attract some suits.
