Review content:
I am very unsatisfied with the services Dr. Bartos gave me. She listened to what I had to say, but that's the end of the positives. She said she thought I have IBS, but seemed irritated when I asked her to explain to me what that is, giving me a two sentence answer in a gruff tone. At one point, she said my recent drop off in exercise could have exacerbated my symptoms, but when she concluded with her recommendations/ prescriptions, she did not make any comments regarding exercise. She also made no comments regarding diet (a typical component of IBS treatment I later found out). She ordered unnecessary blod tests, which the nurse told me they do for everyone (my friends who are doctors later told me there was no reason for her to test my blod, and that some doctors do that to get more money from insurance companies). She left the room without saying good bye, or responding to my comment ""thank you for your help."" As I was leaving the patient room, I saw a jar on a table labeled ""ashes of problem patients,"" making me think she views patients as a burden. All round I did not feel she cared for, or was invested in my well-being. Pros: location Cons: poor bedside manner, unnecessary tests
