Review content:
I went to get my annual physical check-up at Red River Family Practice on 9/24/12. I am on Bluecross Blueshield health insurance, which pays 100% for preventative care, and a physical once per plan year. RRFP mistakenly billed my visit as a regular doctor's visit, which resulted\r in my getting a bill after the insurance claim. I called RRFP; they admitted their error, and promised to straighten it out and remove the charge.\r \r However, I believe what they did instead was bill the\r insurance company again, in effect double-billing them for the same visit, and BXBS refused to pay them again. This resulted in my getting another bill from RRFP. I called them again, explaining to them their mistake again, and even called BXBS myself and had them call RRFP to\r sort this mess out. Both RRFP and BXBS reassured me then the mistake has been corrected.\r \r Today I received another bill from RRFP, for the\r same visit. Apparently RRFP repeated their mistake once more. It would seem, due to the laziness, indifference, and/or incompetence of their billing department, that this would go on indefinitely, until a third party such as BBB intervened and *MADE* RRFP take *SPECIAL* note of,\r and pay *SPECIAL* attention to the situation, and threaten further disciplinary actions, in order to cut through RRFP's incredible bureaucratic red-tape. Their laziness, indifference, incompetence, and unwillingness to follow up on and truly resolve *THEIR OWN* problem\r and mistake, have made this into a frustrating, appalling and antagonistic situation. It amounts to harassment. I wish their administrators were half as good as their doctors.\r \r In fact, from reviews here, I would say that's pretty much the common sentiment. I am actually considering switching to a different practice simply due to their appalling administration. This is quite *SAD*, really, considering the doctors are quite good. I will speak w/ my doctor there personally about getting rid of whoever their administrator/s is/are that's running their business into the ground. SAD SAD SAD.
