Businiess name:  Vittoria's Shop
Review by:  Shana R.
Review content:
The first time I met Vittoria, I was in tears. I had a bridesmaid dress that was misordered by the dress shop and the three layers of gauzy, assymetric hem were dragging on the ground even with three inch heels, and the waist of the dress was hitting my hips...and the wedding was in two weeks. Vittoria took a look at it, told me not to cry because I was a pretty girl, and told me that everything would be OK, come back in a week. Not only did she fix the dress beautifully, but her prices were insanely cheap for a difficult rush job. She has since done a great job altering my wedding gown (quite a feat - heavy material, with embroidery on the hem that needed to be dealt with when it was shortened), and a few pairs of pants. Vittoria makes you feel good and look great. If you need alterations, there's no one better in the New Haven area. Note: You'll need to pay in cash, so bring a couple of bucks for a deposit. Also, if you think the store should be open and the sign suggests that they're closed, try the door. They forget to flip it over sometimes when they come in in the morning.
