Review content:
I make it a point not to support pet stores that support back yard breeders or puppymills. So when I received a gift certificate to Family Pet Center, I was very excited to support a local business.\r

Upon entry in to the ""store"" one thing crossed my mind. Too much items and not enough space. There were products in piles to the ceilings, the ones on top were covered in cob webs. \r

Then when I was looking for the cats stuff, I found that there was no way to tell what was what. Some was on the floor on one side, then on the shelf on the other side of the store. I was so frustrated looking for items, that I was ready to leave.\r

I stuck it out enough to walk in the back to see some very sickly puppies in tiny cages with a sign that says ""Choose your dog carefully, no refunds or exchanges!"". They were selling skinny puppies who received their first shot, who looked as though they needed a check up from the vet ASAP.\r

As I was walking out, I saw the bird cages which seemed to be covered in lime (?), or some white powdery substance. I kept walking. \r

While I was there we over heard the owner tell someone very gruffly ""This is a pet store, not a zoo!"". We couldn't believe he had spoke to a customer so rudely. \r

Poor service, dirty cages, puppy mill dogs, un-prganized store are some of the reasons why I won't be stepping foot in there again.
Pros: On glisan, accesible, large amount of fresh water fish, good stock
Cons: Dirty, puppy mill dogs, poor service, unorganized.
