Somewhere in the Vedas you may find reference to the fact that consumption of food is a spiritual experience. While eating one is supposed to have nice pleasent thoughts so that the food is accepted by our body. They used to play Indian music videos once but now the person at the counter insists on playing these ultra violent Indian movies with bloody scenes repeated almost every few minutes. I like their food but dread going there . Once, my Kid was terrified and I requested the person to change the channel, but he thought I was crazy. I visited the place about six months later , but nothing had changed. I was subjected to a dose of bloody scene along with my food. Good thing I didn't order any tandoori chicken.
What I wonder is am I the only one who feels that way ? People , Desis ?
