I've never written a review for or against anything. I created an account simply to say - I'm baffled by the fact that others have had such a glowing response. I normally have my tailoring work done by Marina at First Class Tailors even though it's far from my home and costs like a hundred bucks at least everytime I'm in there, etc., but these are my clothes y'know...it's worth it. I wear clothes all the time. But in this case, I'm leaving town for an event and simply needed the hem taken up 1/2 an inch on a pair of pants, and wanted to find someplace quick and near my house. It would be difficult to describe the poor workmanship and I'm stymied as to how any tailor could think what was done to my pants is acceptable. The previous hem line is still visible, the chalk mark is still there (admittedly not a huge deal, but in concert with the other stuff - annoying), and most importantly, the new hem was simply sewn higher - not cut and re-sewn - so now the cuff on the pants is like 3 inches high. And it's not even. (Citysearch wouldn't allow me to write cro*ked - hilarious). So...I will be going this morning to purchase another pair of pants and with luck will find a pair that approximately fits in the length. I'm sure they're fine people, but lousy tailors. Pros: Sort of close to my house - kind of Cons: Pretty awfully bad workmanship
