VERY disappointed with the customer service at Pioneer Evergreen Farms. We had a birthday party there yesterday for two of our children, and we paid $13.50 per kid to do all the activities and have a lunch consisting of hot dogs and chips and popcorn and drinks. We paid an additional $3.50 per adult to have the same lunch. Plus some of our adult friends and relatives dropped money on the hayride (we just paid for the kids for that), the concession stand, etc. We spent hundreds of dollars there. And on top of all of that, we rented an inside room for $50.00 to sit and eat lunch and cake in. When we finished eating, we threw out all of the plates, napkins, cups etc from all of the tables, made sure we left no trash lying around, took all our belongings out, and then sat outside watching the kids do their activities. The hostess came over to our table and said something like: ""We have your bill ready for you inside. But I have to tell you, I am very disappointed, that room was trashed. That was the worst I'd ever seen it in all of my years."" She said this because some of the toddlers and youngest kids dropped potato chips and popcorn on the floor near their tables and they had to sweep it up (wood floor, not carpet). And some crumbs on the tables (plastic tablecloths). That was the extent of the ""trashed"" room. I could not believe she said that to us, at our children's party, in front of some of our relatives, after how much money we dropped there. It was way out of line! We told her we couldn't believe she was making an issue of that at our children's party after how much we spent there, that we found it insulting and embarrassing and way out of line, that nobody had asked us to sweep the floor, that at a kid's party where they provide chips and popcorn, some crumbs on the floor are to be expected, that no-one had told us we were expected to sweep the floors and shouldn't that be included in a $50.00 room fee anyway? She couldn't care less. Either could the owner who totally backed her up. They acted like we put holes in the walls and broke the chairs and had a ketchup fight or something....the floor had to be swept! Big deal!!! Don't you do that between parties anyway? Isn't that part of what you charge $50.00 for use of a room for on top of all other party expenses?! What horrible customer service and business sense to offend and alienate your customers like that. I will never go there again, and certainly will not recommend a party there to anyone! Every other adult guest there who had seen the room agreed that they were way over the top and out of line, that this was just normal kid's party wear and tear and was certainly not ""trashed."" Ridiculous! P.S. I've included pictures of the room we supposedly ""trashed.""
