I hired Basic Moving based on a recommendation from a family friend. He used this company for a local Brooklyn move and was ecstatic about his experience.
I am very glad I listened to his advice. My Manhattan moving project had very strict move-out and move-in hours and the crew was very efficient, quick and careful.
All of my furniture was wrapped with moving blankets for extra protection and it did arrive to the new apartment without a single scratch. The movers were cooperative with both of my building maintenance people and we had no hard time from them whatsoever.
I was expecting some hassle, especially from my building. But, thankfully to my movers, they melted those tough building people.
I will definitely use them again and recommend them in the future.
