Review content:
I took my laptop to MacTLC because it was not turning on. They diagnosed as needing a new hard drive, so I agreed and they put one in for me. It cost $175, which I was happy to pay to have my Mac back. They were also able to recover most of my data, which was great. However, when I got my laptop back I was missing several applications that are standard on any Mac and a very important print utility setup that is needed to install printers. When I called and told them this they said they would have to look at it and it would cost at least $75. The things missing are standard, they should have been there when I turned my computer on and I don't feel that I should have to pay them more money to fix something that shouldn't have been broken. Also, about 3 days after getting my computer back the application and documents all disappeared. I can no longer access anything on my computer and I had to buy a new one. So either MacTLC messed up my computer or they misdiagnosed it, either way I will never use them again and would not ever recommend them to any friends.
