I wanted red velvet cake for my wedding, and not all red velvet cakes are created equal. I went to 8 cake tastings in the Atlanta area and NO ONE was better than Gabriel's. Johnnie's red velvet cake is by far the best red velvet cake I've ever had (don't tell my mother!). I was able to pick 3 flavors from their choices and they made 3 small cakes for me to take home so that others could try them and give their opinions. My husband chose their fresh strawberry cake for his Groom's Cake and it was fantastic as well. Johnnie spent over 2 hours with me during our first meeting, and I could tell she really wanted to make sure that the cakes reflected my style and looked the way I wanted. Their prices were comparable to or lower than all of the other wedding cakes I reviewed. (In addition, they made a heavenly carrot cake for my mother's birthday with less than a day's notice.) I love everything about Gabriel's and I highly recommend Johnnie and her staff.
Pros: Cakes are awesome! Service is wonderful.
