It was a stormy week and needed to host a special occasion dinner, rather than drive to SF fighting traffic, parking, and bad weather, we decided it was the perfect reason to venture south to sample yet another Michael Mina spot. There were few dinner-goers mostly conventioneers at the restaurant's bar which is the ONLY bar inside the Marriott (loud, noisy, and a bit obnoxious). Foodwise, however, we were not disappointed. The food was well-prepared, lots of signature dishes from his amazing repertoire...although the service is not quite polished and the hostess a bit on the aloof side, the restaurant's cusine, portions, & prices go back to the early days of Chef Mina minus the fact that the feel of the place is very ""hotel"". If you don't want to drive to SF, you can definitely have the experience at Arcadia, for the most part. Pros: Food, Good Parking Cons: Nosiy Bar-goers, Few patrons
