We bought a Kenmore refrigerator sometime in the summer of 06 from the Sears store in Narragansett RI. Unfortuantely we did not get the extended warranty because we thought refrigerators don't usually break and ours would probably last at leat 10 yrs w no probs. We were wrong. One month after the 12 mo warranty expired (13 months after we bought it), it broke down. We were told that we not under warranty so we had to pay. It cost us $280 bucks to replace some little part that burnt out. Now it is Oct 08 and it seems like the same thing happened again. We wil have to have their repair dept come here again to fix it prob for another $280. We feel like we were screwed. It is just not fair to have to pay $600 to repair a $600 refrig that is only 2 yrs old. We called both the store and Sears and have gotten no where. We are so upset and will never deal with Sears ever again. Cons: worst cust svc i have ever dealt w
