Scarlet Red is a properly licensed business. We are licensed with the City of G-town, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations and with the Texas Department of State and Health Services. Scarlet Red is a clean sanitary business that has been approved to conduct Hair Services, Tattoos and Body Piercing in the same building. Our Tattoo and Body Piercing equipment is sterile and our artists follow all of the laws set forth by the state. We are registered and monthly participants in a biological spore test monitoring program to help ensure the Safety and Health of our customers through proper equipment sterilization. Our salon prices for hair services are equal to and in comparison to some salons in town cheaper. Our stylist strives to meet the needs and quality that our clients are looking for but we know that in every case that need is not always met. We offer our clients the ability to come back to us for corrections if for any reason our service was not to their liking. We have had clients come back to us for corrections because our customer service is our # 1 goal and we would never be so vain to think that we are perfect. In regard to Scarlet Red providing a body piercing on a minor without the proper consent from the parents, we conducted a proper investigation along side the T.D.S.H.S. and found no proof that this took place in our shop. We follow the state laws for tattoos and body piercing and require all legal documentation before any service is provided. The T.D.S.H.S. was very satisfied with the documentation we require from our customers and was pleased to know that we meet and exceed more than what the law requires.
