I've been bringing my poodle to Val's for years, and she loves it! Whenever we're going for a visit, she knows and gets so excited. She loves Val, Andy, and Ashley to pieces. They are all perfectionists, and make sure my little Coco looks her best when she leaves. They really do care about every animal they work with. They love dogs, and it shows. When Coco was a puppy, she was really rambunctious and wild and I really thought it would be impossible for anyone to groom her. I took her to 3 other places before Val's, and each one was a different problem. One sent her home right away because they couldn't handle how hyper she was. Another one cut her when they were grooming her. The last one didn't listen to a word I said on how I wanted her cut, and they shaved her down. She looked horrible. Then I found Val's, and after a few more visits, Coco's fur started growing back in, and Val made her look like a show dog, I swear! I recommend Val to all of my friends and co-workers, because her shop really is the best in Columbia...And if you ask me, the best in the state!
Pros: Great customer service, they listen to what I want and do it! And whatever they wash her in or spray her with smells so good.
Cons: Sometimes hard to get a last minute appointment because they book up pretty fast.
