Businiess name:  Damon's Steak House
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Damon's is one of the coolest places in town. It never disappoints. The food is good, the service is great and the atmosphere is just plain fun. You may have to wait a little while for a table but it's well worth it. There's a large bar/lounge area that offers a full selection of tropical drinks (Mai Tai and Chi Chi being the house specialties.) The steaks are good (not ""prime"" like Ruth's Chris, but good.) The prime rib is excellent. Most of the servers have been there forever and make you feel just like you're at home. The decor is eclectic - leaf-print carpeting, polynesian mural, aquariums, stuffed monkey's and a real canoe. Sure, it's tacky, but it's all part of the experience and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Pros: Good food, good service, fun atmosphere
