Review content:
Located in Korea town, this is a decent option. From the outside it dosn't impress, but the inside is clean and good. As I understand it, the hotel is under new ownership and is now called The Wilshire Plaza Hotel. Tulips is the restaurant on the second floor, but it is only open for breakfast and lunch. In my opinion the buffet is overpriced (and the scrambled eggs are undercooked) but anything made to order is delicious!! Great club sandwich, and very friendly bartenders---oh and the Starbucks in the lobby is especially convenient. The barista was awesome, and remembered what I ordered each day!! I would certainly stay here again. It's not a luxury hotel, but for your average stay, I was very very pleased.
Pros: Friendly staff, relaxing showers
Cons: the neighborhood is a little shady after dark
