I bought a groupon for cut and color and booked an appt in september. sat down and went thru books and picked a color that matched my current color (medium neutral brownish red) and toned down my brassy hair. 45 mins later i was looking at very dark black/purple/red disaster on my head. she (the daughter) used something to strip the color and while lots of it came out, the damage was done. came back after dinner, mom pulled me thru a cap and lifted out more color. still dark and unflattering.
