Review content:
I love barbecue. I have had many styles of barbecue. I would say Sally Jo's style is ""not good"". I can't believe people eat here. The food was terrible. I was really excited about hearing about this place and it looked like an old timey place that might be a somewhat hidden gem. After driving the the New Hell part of houston we arrived. The owner was nice enough, in a demeaning jerkk kind of way...but whatever. The menu prices were high, which is to be expected at a BBQ joint (meat is high, BBQ is labor intensive). The brisket tasted like it was boiled in garbage. It was so fatty, it was almost inedbile. The ribs were just awful. The whole time I sat there, I was like, Is this some kind of joke? Anyways, maybe we caught them on a bad day. Easily the worst BBQ I've had in houston. Makes Luthers look good. I'm sorry, but I'm just calling it how it is. Pros: The food didn't make me sick Cons: The food
