Review content:
Where do I start? I have been married for a year and a half. Twice already my wedding band (pave style and purchased at Barsky's in October 2008) has lost diamonds. TWICE. Meanwhile, my engagement ring which is also pave style but bought from a reputable diamond store and in early 2007 has never once, I repeat, NEVER lost a diamond or ""been banged up by me."" On my second trip to Barsky's to have my ring fixed yet again, I was told by the woman in the back (fixing department - it was awfully busy back there) that I had lost the diamonds and that I had banged up my ring. She also explained that a woman is not to wear her rings all the time! WHAT???? Yes, you read correctly, ladies, according to Barsky's employees...you are not to wear your wedding rings all the time. I could only assume then that Barsky's diamonds are only to be worn very little because they are crap. When the woman AGAIN blamed me for the missing diamonds (two on each side) and the banged up setting, I showed her my engagement ring, told her it was purchased at another store, also told her that it had been on my finger EVERY...SINGLE...DAY since it was given to me and never once has it lost a diamond let alone two and let alone again twice nor has it been ""banged up"". I took it off my finger so that she could look at the engagement ring up close. I asked her why if I have been wearing that longer I hadn't banged that one up and lost a total of three diamonds from it? She simply replied, ""I will fix it just this one last time, then you are on your own."" Well, after it was fixed and I was walking out of the store, I looked down at the ring in the natural sunlight....only to reveal an even more noticable flaw and an absolute absurdity. They stuffed each missing diamond whole with something dark gray and squeezed the setting so hard to keep both of the gray things (diamonds????) in that now the entire ring looks like it's been run over by a MAC truck. It is sooo awful and such a shame that Barsky's suck. Never never never again.
