Every 4th of July, my whole family gets together to go camping for 3 or 4 days at Baker Park. We continue to go there because it is convenient, clean, and lots of fun! They have big camp sites and pretty nice showers and bathrooms too. Make sure to bring your bicycle or rollerblades because they have really nice bike paths around the campground and across the street. They have 2 beaches with canoes and paddleboats for rent. They have a big playground for children. They also have nice BBQ areas by the beach. If you have a boat, bring it! You can go waterskiing, tubing, boating, fishing and anything else you like to do. It is a big campground and is always filled during the 4th of July. I believe the closest place to see fireworks though would be in the town of Delano. Give Baker Park a try! Pros: Large sites, nice bike paths, convenient Cons: leeches
