Review content:
When my older daugther started kindergarten 4 years ago, the price of after-care was reasonable, $52 per week for 4 days care, or $13 per day. Okay, now 4 years later, the price nearly doubled to $25.00 per day. This is only for a max of 3 hours per day! I now have two in school, which would amount to my paying close to $200 per week (if you account for a minuscule sibling discount). Thankfully, I found another REASONABLY PRICED after-care program whose staff picks up the children from school, than takes then back to their day-care facility in a van. The price, including transportation and all - $15. It is a shame that I had no choice but to pull my kids from Paley's program just because of the price. I loved the convenience of Paley having a site located right in the school, and a staff who worked very well with the kids. Time each day was alloted to homework, activities, reading, etc. It is just WAY too much money, and not fair to working middle class parents who pay out of pocket for after-care.
