Review content:
I've been going to Nizam for the past two years, and love the food, which is consistently good. It's one of the very few places in LA that serves spicy Indian food that is also nuanced and flavorful. Dinner is much better than the lunch buffet. The Ginger Wings are amazing, building a lovely slow burn. The various rice dishes and different types of curries are great too. My husband and I order around the menu trying different things, and are always pleased with out discoveries. I was suprised to read the other review; maybe it was a bad night? I've had the tandoori chicken, and it was well spiced, fresh and tender. Once you've been there a few times, they recognized us, which was nice--and unusual in an LA restauant.
