Central Nails is a very busy location, and appointments really mean nothing to them. They take people on a first come/first served basis. Most of the customers go there for mani/pedi services, which I think they perform fine. The location is rather dirty, and if you want to get a wax there, you'll be receiving it in front of everyone in the salon. I have solar nails, or ""pink & white,"" as referred to in Philly. Linda did my refill, and they look like a beginner set. The white lines are not straight at all. Unfortunately, not many nail salons in Philly do the ""pink & white,"" so I may have to go back even though I'd really prefer a more ""polished"" service. Their prices are average - $30 for a refill, $5 for buffing at the end (otherwise they just put on a clear top coat), $2 for cutting the nails down (prior to refilling). I'm not sure what the initial set would cost, but I expect around $40. Pros: Prices, Quick Service Cons: Poorly skilled at "Pink & White", Dirty, No Benefit to Scheduling an Appointment
