My fiancee and I are former NYers and have dealt with a lot of rude people in our time. The owner is a former NYer as well and what some people (in the other reviews) might think rude is simply a straight-forward business attitude. She has never been nothing but great to us, even recommending other flowers when the ones we wanted weren't ""fresh"" enough. She cares about the quality of her product. We are also getting married back in NY and she recommended some florists to us and said if we mention her name we might get a break in price. In addition, for every occasion, dinner parties, Valentine's day, my birthday etc., my fiancee and I buy flowers and arangements from My Secret Garden and they are always FABULOUS and commented on by guests. They do the most amazing presentation and we are always satisfied.
