Review content:
On a recent Saturday I decided to pick up lunch for myself and my parents. I wanted to try British Sensations for some Brit food. I called ahead and ordered the Fish and Chips, a Sausage Roll plate and the Shepherd?s Pie to go. It was all ready when I arrived. I was running ten minutes later then I expected and the food was still hot and smelled excellent. I had the shepherd pie which was an excellent and hearty fair with a flavorful layer of melted cheese on top and the accompanying baked beans were mildly sweet and a good complement. This is not light fair but a generous portion of pie and beans. I shared a bit with my dinner companions and they declared it excellent as well. I wanted to try the sausage roll with the intriguing sauce but I couldn't pry one out of my father?s hands before he had finished them off. My mother enjoyed her fish and chips (fries) but couldn't finish it all so I sampled the fish which was also crispy fried delight. Portions were all generous and food was hot and hearty. My chief delight was not finding the food over salted like so many restaurants favor. My chief complaint would have to be I will need to order my own sausage roll next time when I return so I can sample the taste of one, and not just the pleasing aroma that my Dad provided me with along with his satisfied smile.
