Review content:
We recently fired CAM primarily because our manager, Cindi, walked out of our monthly meeting over something ridiculous. Since then, we have discovered numerous issues that they were not addressing and bringing to our attention. We were very close to being shut down by the state because they had not registered the corporation with the state since 2007. Anyone who is a director for an HOA, make sure your corporation is registered with the secretary of state. Also make sure your bank account information is current, including signers on the account. These are just a few things, but major problems that our new management company has discovered in the transition process. CAM has been resistant and sometimes antagonistic throughout this process. If Community Asset Management manages your association, beware! Don't let them pull the wool over your eyes!
