Review content:
I noticed a job posting from Flex-staff for a receptionist position. I have had 3-4 years of office and customer service experience. I went in for an interview with Hailey, one of the workers there, and the treatment she gave me was inexcusable. First of all, this is a ""professional"" business, is it not? To begin with, there was no acknowledgment of a simple hand shake or even introduction. This young woman sat right down and explained the details that they can't do anything more but send in resumes for the companies, and if they want to interview- flex staff will notify. How is this so, when there were job posting all over the job site that said they had positions.???? After 2 hours of computer skills testing, they simply told me there was no position open at the moment! Their attitude was appalling, unfriendly and was very unprofessional! Where is the ""equal opportunity regardless of ethnicity, age..etc""??? No where is that line found on their website after I came back and viewed their website. This was the worst employment agency I've been to. It's just so sad how people still automatically judge right away, no matter how professional you are, the color of your skin and age. I advise anyone: if you are a minority, don't bother wasting your time spending 2-3 hours with them to help find a job for you. There are many other places out there. Most of the time, us minorities are the hardest workers and learn on the job quicker than the average person. Things will never change. Cons: truly unprofessional
