Review content:
This Chinese restaurant is one of the BEST LA has to offer. I am usually very hard to please and would not bother giving reviews, but this restaurant have a unique feel (call it differentiation) and taste of food. I have been to many different Chinese restaurant in the past mostly either are full dine-in or fast food. This place has a good dining space and pick-up counter for phone orders. At first, I really did not realize this place has potential because of it being in a corner shopping center, but after trying it several times, I am convince it deserves an excellent review. I believe it is family owned and operated. They already have a good amount of clientele that I always seems to see picking up their food while they shop at Gelsons or nearby stores. The food is absolutely wonderful. It taste really really good. I have ordered many telephone orders in the past and they only do pick-up; no delivery. I always order their beef chop suey and it is always hot even when I go pick it up until I arrived at home. The beef is soooo tender and the servings are awesome that you cannot beat the price unlike some restaurant who delivers around the area. I feel guilty paying for food that seems to be more than what I paid for ($8.17 for a dinner combination, choice of steam or fried rice, egg roll, soup, and a fried shrimp that is shape like an onion ring). The taste is always the same unlike some places where it may change in taste or food consistency. I would say, I will probably be ordering more at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy above average Chinese food.
Pros: Price and Taste
Cons: It is not visible and can improve on some interior renovation
