Review content:
I have been a fan of Arena's for years, always admiring their work and the natural feel of their arrangements. We recently hired Arena's for our wedding and were disappointed with their work. While the arrangements and bouquets looked lovely, they were not at all what I asked for. We requested the use of specific flowers, colors, and ties for the arrangements and bouquets, which were initially agreed upon and later ignored. It appeared that they substituted less-costly flowers and put their vision for the design ahead of ours. While I'm sure that we were a small event compared to what Arena's usually works, I expected the same level of detail, responsiveness, and service. I have several acquaintances getting married next year and have advised against using Arena's if they have any specific requests for their floral design. In addition, we were required to return urns, pedestals, and vases the after the wedding. The club had never heard of florists who require this of their customers. We were contacted on our honeymoon for the items which had already been returned by a relative. I hope that other brides have a more positive and responsive experience with Arena's than we did. Pros: Natural-looking arrangements Cons: Designers do not listen and put their vision ahead of customer wishes
