I have used Ace Tailors several times, mostly because it was convenient and I didn't know where else to go. I have experienced many of the same problems as other reviewers. They take forever to finish jobs (I think because they agree to take on too much, then underestimate the time to return items), and last time I went they could not seem to locate my item. They put me on hold forever, then said they would call me back and never did. Their prices are also ridiculous. Last time I went, they charged me $20 to hem a pair of pants. Pants that weren't even lined!! There was nothing different or unique about these pants for them to charge $20. And as though it's not already obvious, their customer ""service"" is horrible. They don't seem to care whether they do a good job or have your alterations done when they say they will, which is important if you need the alterations done for something like an interview or event. You just can't rely on them to have them completed by the time they say they will. And even then, you may get your item back and still need additional alterations because the work is so bad. STAY AWAY!!
