We placed a delivery order this evening for several items and when the girl taking my order repeated it back to me I made sure that of the whole order one item was definitely in there. She repeated back to me for the second time, ""yes I have that down"". When we received our order we noticed there was none of the specific meal. I am usually not one that complains, I just want adequate service, so I called to let them know of their mistake and to make sure that we were not charged with the 10.50 meal that we did not receive. When speaking to the girl on the phone I went over what we ordered and she of course repeated what they had down which was not what we had ordered. She then went on to give an excuse that the girl that took the order had left for the evening, and asked if we already ate what we received..... My thought, what do either of those have to do with the problem? I told her that no we hadn't begun eating, and the only thing that she responded with was again the girl who took the order was not here anymore. Long story longer, we spent $61.00 total at the place we usually get Chinese food, and were not offered any compensation for their mistake, barely even a we are sorry. So, if you do not have any picky eaters visiting you and the money you spend on what you order is not important then go ahead and order from here, my family, we will be ordering else where from now on. What happened to customer service, do businesses just not care anymore?
