It might be a bit far outside of Sacramento, but it is well worth going into Rancho Cordova to go to Straw Hat. As many closed in the 1980's which I terribly missed the food. But one of the classic locations is still in Rancho Cordova the prices are very reasonable, and there's a large amount of seating in the location. During the weekends if a fan of Jazz, you can see the Sacramento Banjo Band performing. But my favorite is to watch the Karaoke (not participating) . But its great for people watching.
