Businiess name:  Bus Stop Cafe

Review content:
I wish there was a half-star option. I'm always stumped when I see this place full of patrons. The Bus Stop serves - without a doubt- the worst food in the Village. Maybe even in the city. Always cold, always tasteless, I guess it's the location that keeps it going? How is it possible that people continue to eat here? It looks so sweet and inviting from the outside, yet the food is horrible and the waitresses are visibly overwhelmed, and are usually upset and angry. And the FOOD?! Always served cold, the pancakes taste like they were made with joint compound, the eggs come damp and chilly, the English muffins are cold and rock-hard and you have to BEG repeatedly for milk or butter or Tabasco sauce..even when the place isn't hopping. I don't get it. Ate here recently, I guess because I'd forgotten how bad it was. Now I remember. If you're looking for a great, hot, fresh breakfast that's cheap, try La Bonbonierre (sic) on 8th Avenue, just a couple of blocks away. What the Bus Stop can only dream of being. Pros: very pretty Cons: hideous, cold food. How can you screw up eggs and toast? They do every time.
