Review content:
It's really unfortunate that it has come to the point at which I have to write this review. I have been a long standing client of Liz Lanza's, visiting the salon on a monthly basis for over 20 years. I have been going to a wonderful stylist, incredible aestetician, and fabulous massage therapist and unfortunately a very disappointing nail technician. The salon is fantastic, very professional and very clean. I've been struggling with the idea of leaving, but only because of my nail technician. It seems her needs come before her clients. I always feel like I am rushed, example: I sat down in the pedicure chair being followed immediately by two other clients getting pedi's at the same time. My tech started me 10 minutes after the other 2 clients had gotten started and finished my pedi 15 minutes before they were done. I pay for a hour long pedicure. I hear other clients talk about how much they love the shellac system and the longevity of the manicure and yet mine only last a few days and start peeling. I've had it done on vacation and they last me 2 weeks. I have expressed my concerns with the nail tech and she always seems to be on the defense! She makes excuses and steers the fault back to me. She has called me numerous times (and I mean numerous) to change my appointments to the point of aggravation. I have sat in the chair drying while she leaves me to get ready to go to the gym. I understand she is self employed, but I think it is terribly unprofessional to rush through a service and out the door while the client is still in her chair. I have actually tried to go to another tech but she has literally gone into the appointment book and change me back to her column. If I am in somebody else's column - leave me there! There is a reason for it. I can't imagine I am the only one who feels this way, I spend thousands of dollars a year and deserve professionalism. Like I said , I truly didn't want to write this review but I feel like I had no other choice. She just doesn't seem to get it. Maybe the salon isn't the right place of employment for her- maybe she should get a job at a gym, a place where she feels more at home. I really don't want to leave, and I imagine the other staff members I go to would not be pleased. Like I said- LOVE the salon, just disappointed with my nail tech.
