Salernos, tucked away in the quaint back corner just off of 2499 in Flower Mound isn't obvious to see, which is perfect. The good news is there is plenty of seating, it's not commercialized, like Olive Garden so I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. They have a delightfully stuffed,baked Artichoke Lucia...first artichoke I ever had and now I am hooked! The house salad is simple but the house itialian dressing makes it just perfect! The Pecan Chicken is light with a slight nutty flavor and delightful orange sauce over pasta! Service is always good and the wine list is fantastic, my only complaint is the smoke can drift and can be a problem in the man dining area just off the bar. Be sure and ask to be seated in the back room to avoide the smoke! I rate Salernos of Flower Mound a 9! Best kept secret of Flower Mound dining!
